Mindful Nature Guides offers QiGong: Moving Meditation classes in Southern California in person and online. We can bring the class to you via a Zoom meeting or a social-distance small class for your community, workplace, or retreat.
QiGong is a moving mediation that includes mindful breathing, flowing movements, visualization and focus on the present moment. Practicing QiGong helps release tension, calm the mind, and rejuvenate the body by shifting the nervous system from the sympathetic or fight, flight, or fright state to the rest and digest parasympathetic state. Learning to use breath practice and moving mediation is beneficial and accessible to all ages and all levels of fitness.
No special gear, clothing, or preparation is required, simply arrive ready to experience and participate. Movements are easy to follow and involve minimal footwork; many of the movements are done standing in one place and can also be done sitting.
